Counselor Position – The Counselor's roles and responsibilities are crucial to running the camp. The Counselor is responsible for safety and supervision of the kids attending the camp. He/She must be a strong leader, role model, and mentor for the kids and fellow staff at all times. The counselor is to assist in maintaining a positive, professional and friendly learning environment for the campers, staff and guests. The Counselor should be able to lead and engage in discussions with campers that reinforce the outdoor and night program lessons, so that campers can apply strategies from the outdoors to make the right life choices. The counselor continues the NorthBay mission and character development throughout cabin time with their campers, continuing to act as a positive filter, and role model in a small group setting while ensuring the supervision and safety of the campers.

Educator Position – NorthBay is looking for Educators to teach environmental education & science, character & outdoor education to school students. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in outdoor education, environmental or natural science, education, art, social studies language arts, or related fields. Candidates must also love students and must be open to new teaching methods and practices.

Grounds Worker – Summary: The grounds worker is responsible for the maintenance of all outdoor areas and the general maintenance and upkeep and appearance of the NorthBay grounds, as well as all NorthBay vehicles and grounds related equipment. The grounds worker reports to the grounds supervisor.

Adventure Staff – If you love the outdoors and adventurous activities you need to think about joining our Adventure Team. We are looking for candidates that have 3 main qualities: strong interpersonal skills, the ability to follow directions with great attention to detail, and safety.
